Sheet Metal Fabrication Factory – Customized Service & Products

Metal fabrication is the process of making metal components or structures out of raw metal resources. We apply various fabrication techniques on the metal when making them items out of metal. In brief, these techniques include cutting, punching, bending, and welding.

Sheet metal fabrication is the production of metal structures through a number of procedures. Hence, usually, we make larger end products by processing and assembling sheets of steel or other metal components.

To bond these tiny components and produce a high-quality finish, we use the process of welding, finally resulting in a variety of products with different forms and sizes.

Sheet metal fabrication techniques

To make these sheets for a large scale business industrial sheet metal companies go through different processes and create these sheets for us to use. Accordingly, these steps are:

1. Design

We make a high-quality final product for well-satisfied customers in the presence of a committed, capable designer with CAD (computer assisted design) training, hence he is absolutely present at this stage. Some businesses allow clients to provide design parameters upfront and collaborate with their design and NPI (New Product Introduction) teams.

2. Cutting

The process of laser cutting begins once the machine codes have been configured. Lasers are one of the most precise techniques to cut sheet metal because they effortlessly and precisely follow the specified design.

3. Punching

Some perforations or shapes, like ribs, louvers, or countersinks, are necessary for many components. For this, a CNC punching machine employs specialized tools to “strike” the metal sheet and perforate or shape it in accordance with predetermined guidelines.

4. Bending

The sheet metal is clamped between a top tool and a die on each machine, which applies pressure to produce the desired curve. It is also known as CNC folding or computer controlled origami.

5. Welding

There are quite a number of unique welding techniques and methods that can be used to work with sheet metal. These include; MIG welding, spot welding, projection welding, and robotic welding.

6. Assembly and powder coating

Finally, the assembly process can range from basic weld installations to complicated electric linkages, based on the complexity of the finished piece. Insertion is the technique of inserting a screw, nuts, or other parts into a structure to connect it together.

How do we use metal sheets in production?

Sheet metals are metals in the state of slim, and wide sheets. We do not usually use sheet metals as a finished product in manufacturing. Rather, companies use it to make quite a few different end-products in a broad range of steel industries. Some of these include aeronautics, automobile, networking, computers, construction, electronics, food production and storage, pharmaceuticals, defense, etc.

Precision sheet metal fabrication agent or suppliers can use their skills to produce a broad range of products and accessories. These include furnishings, staircase handrails, fences, and kennels as well as components for the HVAC field, lamp covers, blades, and airplane structures.
